Wireless VoIP Phone Without a PC from Thomson

Thomson had announced of the world’s first suite of wireless VoIP devices – multiple play residential gateways and IP DECT phones - that integrate wideband audio functionality for an enhanced IP telephony experience.

Wideband audio quality is already the standard for wired VoIP through a computer, but now Thomson is offering the same level in a wireless VoIP application without the need for a PC. Thomson even adds Bluetooth to the mix, and supports H.323, MGCP and SIP protocols.

Near-CD quality sound covering the full range of frequencies audible to most people is immediately perceived by the end user insofar as the quality of the voice connection is much higher than that provided by traditional PSTN telephony.

Thomson's Wireless VoIP Phone are available now worldwide.
